Amy and Liam, y’all brought the JOY. Their engagement session had a little bit of everything I love about this city: grand old architecture downtown, the most iconic marquee in town, and a golden evening at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Add a ruffled floral dress and a champagne pop, and WOW.
Marble Columns and Marquee Lights in Downtown Birmingham
We started at the historic Federal Building, where towering marble columns and arched windows make everything feel timeless. Amy’s flowy dress against all that white stone? Chef’s kiss.

Those marble steps, brass railings, and vintage lampposts gave us SO many spots to play with, and these two made every single one feel easy.

Then we wandered over to the Alabama Theatre, the Showplace of the South, and Amy could not stop laughing as Liam pulled her across the street beneath that glowing marquee.

Golden Hour at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Next up, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens! We began in the rose garden, where Liam stole kisses under the vine-covered pergola and I snuck in close-ups of that gorgeous ring and Amy’s petal earrings. Fear not, the details always get their moment.

As the sun dipped behind the conservatory, things got playful. Twirls, dips, and Liam sweeping Amy right off her feet while she laughed the entire time. These are the moments I live for: real, unposed, and full of joy.

And of course, we wrapped up with a champagne pop by the fountain. What better way to celebrate?

Amy and Liam, thank you for the laughs, the trust, and the best kind of chaos. I cannot WAIT for everything ahead of you two!
