When I asked Jay what he was most excited about for the wedding day, he said seeing Jenn in her dress. Jenn’s answer? Finally being married to Jay. After photographing their Donnelly House wedding in Birmingham, I can tell you both of those moments were everything they hoped for.
Meet Jenn + Jay
These two are the perfect mix. He’s got Boosie Badazz on repeat, and she’s queuing up Maggie Rogers. And come football season? It’s LSU and the Saints on one side and Roll Tide on the other. (Jay, fear not, we’ll convert you eventually.)
They do agree on the important things, like a good date night. Both love getting dressed up for a fancy dinner, and Current made both of their favorite restaurant lists. Jay describes Jenn as loving and caring, and Jenn says Jay never meets a stranger and is always so supportive of her. You could feel all of that throughout their whole day.
A Classic Birmingham Wedding at the Donnelly House
The Donnelly House is one of my favorite Birmingham wedding venues. Its historic charm and timeless details make every photo feel classic and romantic. With seven friends standing beside each of them and 120 guests who came from near and far, the day was full of love from start to finish.
Jenn looked STUNNING in her gown from Bella’s Bridal, surrounded by gorgeous florals from Delta Flowers. Verité Strings set the mood for a beautiful ceremony, and Jay got his wish: watching Jenn walk down the aisle toward him. Afterward, Creative Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night long.
Jenn and Jay wanted a mix of sweet, romantic moments and classic look-at-the-camera portraits, and y’all, we got both!
