Abby and Logan, y’all. Their engagement session at Hays Nature Preserve was everything I love about golden hour in Huntsville: open meadows, glowing light, a quiet stretch of river, and two people who could not stop laughing together. From the very first photo, it felt easy and so them.
Golden Hour in the Meadow
We started out in the meadow in classic jeans and tees, and the sun showed up in full force. Logan kept sneaking in kisses, Abby kept cracking up, and somewhere in there a little dance party broke out. These are the moments I live for: real, unposed, and full of joy. And WOW, that light.
Next we wandered down to the water, where the sun slipped through the trees and lit up everything around them. The reflections on the water were unreal, and these two made it look effortless.
Lakeside Views and Mountain Sunsets
For the second look, Abby switched into a flowy white dress, and we headed to the pond with those dreamy mountain views in the distance. The sky turned soft and pastel, and the two of them settled right into each other. Fear not, the cuddles were plentiful. Sitting in the grass by the water, they talked and laughed like no one else was around, which is exactly the kind of moment I hope every couple gets to have.
We finished in the open field as the sun went down. The perfect ending to a perfect evening!
Abby and Logan, thank you for such a fun, sweet evening. I cannot WAIT for everything ahead of you two!
