Jasmine + Chris
Wedding Elopement Session
Blog
Jasmine + Chris Elopement was a great experience for me as a photographer. The bride and groom where in different continents during the planning of their wedding. Jasmine contact’s me while in Germany and discussed their wishes for their wedding photos, she chose the Elopement Package 4 hours for their session. A little back story on the bride and groom; they are both from Germany, fell in love and have endured long distance relationship since he got orders to move to North Carolina. They planned a small wedding in the Main Post Chapel at Fort Bragg. Surrounded by their close friends and family from afar via video streaming during the ceremony. Very 2021 #technology! In my opinion. I think is amazing how in today’s world everyone can be part of magical, unforgettable moments like this one.
For this December Christmas wedding, we were surprisingly stroked with 70-degree weather that made it so easy for outdoor pictures. Her dress was perfection making it extremely easy to showcase in every picture. The Christmas tree outside the Chapel made for a perfect backdrop that screamed Christmas wedding. After pictures of the ceremony and the German traditional greeting after the nuptials; that was so much fun, different and captured every minute of it for them. Then we headed to the reception hosted by the couples closes friends. It was a beautiful quaint gathering, catered by Mission BBQ and the wedding cake was made by one of the couples closes friends. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect Christmas elopement planned from afar than this one.
