Karina and John’s Huntsville engagement session had a little bit of everything: lush garden paths, a sunset view over the city, and the cutest four-legged guest of honor. We started at the Huntsville Botanical Garden and wrapped up at Blevins Gap for golden hour, and y’all, it was a DREAM.
Engagement Photos at the Huntsville Botanical Garden
The Huntsville Botanical Garden is one of my favorite spots in North Alabama for engagement photos. Between the winding paths, the greenery, and all that soft, natural light, there’s a beautiful backdrop around every corner. Karina and John were naturals from the very first shot, laughing, snuggling, and totally themselves.
Bringing the Pup Along
Karina and John brought their beautiful dog along for the session, and I’m SO glad they did. Your pets are family, and including them in your engagement photos is one of the best ways to make your session feel like you. Fear not if your pup isn’t perfectly behaved, either. The candid, wiggly moments are often the ones couples love most.
Sunset Engagement Photos at Blevins Gap
To finish the session, we headed up Blevins Gap to catch the sunset over Huntsville. That mountain view at golden hour is hard to beat. The warm light, the city stretching out below, and these two wrapped up in each other made for some of my favorite images of the year.
