Beautiful Wedding Invitation Suites and much more!

I am excited to start getting into sharing some tips and ideas for weddings now that I have my own wedding that I am planning. When an amazing company called Basic Invite reached out to me about doing a collaboration and I was thrilled because their items looked so beautiful.

I ordered five items for myself to give you guys an honest review about this company! The things I ordered are wedding invitation, a save the date, thank you card, an RSVP card, a vowel renewal card and I also got envelopes for those items. Something that you can take advantage of is they allow you to order custom samples so that you can actually see the invite feel it hold it before you make your final purchase which is what I did! When I got the items I was shocked with how high quality the invitations felt and looked. All of the writing on the cards were very clean and crisp.

First lets talk about the wedding invitation suite! The thing that I loved the most on the website was that I could change the colors on my invitation and see a preview immediately. When ordering an invitation that is a part of a such important aspect to not have to guess what you and your guest are going to get in the mail! They have over 180 different color options to choose from on every single detail so I was able to get really creative with my design. I loved that it would save a color I recently used so that I could easily have access to the exact same color on all the items I ordered. The wedding invitation beauty does not have to stop there, they have over 40 colors of envelopes for your invitations to go in! I don’t know about you but I prefer seeing something colorful in the mail rather than boring. Trust me from experience with working with a philanthropy and mailing out hundreds of letters every November for a fundraising campaign, you want envelopes that make a statement and have a peel and stick so you don’t need to lick it! YUK!

The second thing that we need to discuss is their create a wedding website option! I know you have seen those beautiful AND not so beautiful wedding websites! For your wedding day you want your website to work flawlessly so that your event looks professional to your family and friends. I know when I wanted to create a website I wanted it to almost look as professional as my business website. You might ask me, “Krista, why do I need a wedding website?” Well let me tell you. A wedding website makes it so much easier for your guest to find questions and answers, to find your registry, have a map of the venue so no one gets lost, and to RSVP online! We are in a day and age that people simply forget to RSVP in the mail and then you are left with figuring out who didn’t respond! You also don’t want all of your guest asking you about parking, if their kids can come, and where can I find your registry everyday leading up to your wedding. What is so cool about these websites is that the design suite can match your invitation so that everything flows together! Talk about a marketers dream! The website options also have over 180 colors to choose from, and you can instantly upload all of your wedding details and images. When I was going through I got to upload all of the photos from my relationship and it was so fun to go back and relive those memories. They are also mobile friendly so that your friends can easily access it all the time!

Okay this is something I feel like most people forget about! You need to thank your guest for their gifts and for attending your special day. If I have learned one thing about being organized and on top of everything, this is something you need to do this early! “Well Krista how do I do this early the wedding hasn’t happened yet?” That is a great question but you do not want it to take you and your new husband six months to get thank you cards out because by then people forgot what they even gave you! Get your customized thank you cards early, you don’t have to write in them yet but already having in your house and addressed brings you one step closer to getting them done and sent out. If you have a registry than you will more than likely get things in the mail early! Make sure you make a detailed list of who sent what and you can start writing some cards and saving them for later even before the wedding happens! This will save you so much time and energy when it comes to after the wedding for you to finally relax after planning something so great.

Some time saving features that they have that you might find helpful are:

Basic Invite have over 900 wedding invitation sets. In the set is any stationary you need save the dates, wedding invitations, enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs, and matching thank you cards. This is a great feature for those brides that need something all encompassing.

They offer a Free Address Collection Service, this is a service that you can request your addresses in three steps. All you have to do is share a link on social media or email to your guests and it will collect addresses and get free envelope printing! COME ON! That is so easy! If you are like me and have terrible handwriting or you seem to mess up spelling quite often this is something for you and I! It also helps if someone moves and has a new address to have all of those in one place.

Last perk to using Basic Invites for your stationary needs is, they have a service that is called Seal and Send Wedding invitations. It is an all-in-one wedding invitation with a tear-off RSVP postcard included. It can’t get easier than that. This is a newer service that Basic Invite offers to help you during this craziness. If you have already send out your invites and you now have to change your date this might be a service that is just for you! It offers 30 designs including their foil options and are also customizable! Their seal and sends prints your guests address on the front of each invitation so that you don’t even need an envelope! (Save paper!) You will share a link with their free address collection service and then upload your design. Then all that is left for you to do is add postage, fold your invites and secure them with a sticker.

All of these options are perfect for a bride and groom that work full time, they had to move their wedding date due to unforeseen circumstances, and for literally anyone planning a wedding. Weddings are no small tasks you are planning the largest party of your entire life with over 100 guests and you probably like me have zero experience on how to do it. I high recommend you check out Basic Invite to make at least that part of your wedding planning experience simple and easy!

This is an amazing company that you should consider for your wedding day. They also have many other things on their website and really great prices. I was shocked with how high quality everything was when I go it in the mail. I 10/10 recommend Basic Invites for your special occasions.
