A Golden Hour Engagement Session at Children’s Harbor | Mary Robins & Brian

Mary Robins and Brian’s engagement session at Children’s Harbor at Lake Martin was one of those days that came together perfectly. After a cloudy start, the sun made its appearance just in time for the most beautiful golden hour by the water.

Getting to photograph their engagement session at Children’s Harbor, which is also their wedding venue, made the evening even more special. It gave them a chance to explore the property together and soak in the space before their big day arrives.

Engagement Photos at Their Wedding Venue

Taking engagement photos at your wedding venue adds such a meaningful layer to your session. It allows couples to feel comfortable in the space and creates images that feel connected to their full wedding story.

Children’s Harbor offers stunning lake views, open green areas, and peaceful scenery — making it a beautiful backdrop for engagement photos at Lake Martin.

Golden Hour at Lake Martin

As the session wrapped up, the light softened and the sun reflected across the lake, giving us the dreamiest golden glow. Those final moments ended up being some of my favorite images from the entire evening.

Golden hour at Lake Martin truly never disappoints.
